Tuggeranong parkrun – by Scott Marshall
Results for parkrunday 9 April – With the Australian Running Festival, Batemans Bay Tri and a few other events on over the weekend it is not surprising that only 7 Vikings made it out for a crisp parkrun. It must have been a tapering week for everybody because no one was within a bull’s roar of a PB. Instead a couple of Viking’s offspring achieved good PB’s; Lucas Corlis (13 parkruns) dropped almost 2 minutes of his previous, and Lilly McIntye (43 parkruns) took exactly 3 minutes off. For the record, both Lucas and Lilly are under 10!
Don’t forget your barcode #dfyb.
All this week’s Tuggeranong results are on the parkrun website.
Tuggeranong parkrun event #163, 253 parkrunners
120 Andrew MILLER, 137 Alison HALE, 161 Elouise O’TOOLE, 191 Fiona JOHNSTONE, 223 Scott MARSHALL, 237 Gavin MCINTYRE, 247 Erin ROBERTS
Volunteers are important for the parkrun to go smoothly. If you are having a rest day or have time please consider volunteering.
Vikings Triathlon Club is the largest club on the Tuggeranong parkrun list with 132 parkrunners! Club list. You can view all our members who have done the parkrun on their website. Vikings Club history. To have your name added to our list above, go to the details page on the parkrun and add your club.
The parkrun is free – yep, it costs nothing! It is aimed at all types of runners and walkers, from juniors and first timers to Olympians and nonagenarians. Please register before your first run, and you only ever register with parkrun once. Then remember to take a printed copy of your barcode to any of the more than 150 Australian, or around 800 parkruns worldwide.
